The Humanity of Inhumanity is an R-Rated Science Fiction webcomic. If you are a child, please do not read.
After getting shot down leaving the Earth’s atmosphere, Chien and the rest of the Hestia V Crew find themselves stumbling onto an alien plot to destroy the planet Earth. Now it is up to them to find the keys to an ancient doomsday weapon before the Zakiid, a merciless alien empire who value strength above all else. But lurking in the shadows may lie another threat, one with more personal ties to Chien. What secrets is our hero hiding? And is he the only one with something to hide?

About the Creator
Megan “Cryptic” Danvers is a 29 year old woman (as of the start of the comic) who is aroace, autistic, and bipolar. She is a firm believer that animation is underappreciated as an artform and is in fact superior to live action.
She gets her self-ascribed nickname of “Cryptic” from her childhood special interest in cryptids and aliens which, while she may not be as staunch a believer in anymore, still holds a place in her heart as a lover of things out of this world. Her favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi both of which she fully believes are never not elevated by the inclusion of musical numbers in such media. See the fact Steven Universe is possibly her favorite show as proof.
She is a staunch leftist who hopes that one day the world will be as bright as it is in media. But until then she hopes to spread a bit of joy with her webcomic which she has held very near and dear to her heart since she first came up with it in early 2019. She first became inspired after a college professor made it mandatory for his TV studies class to have Netflix and she started watching the delightful garbage fire that was Voltron Legendary Defender.
The Humanity of Inhumanity thus took some inspiration from VLD along with Avatar: The Last Airbender. Thank you to that professor (who’s name I have unfortunately forgotten at this point) for accidentally leading me to creating this series.
And if you’re wondering about the image above having two figures, the two personas depicted are meant to represent Cryptic’s bipolar with one representing the depressive side of bipolar and the other representing the manic side. She is properly medicated and hasn’t really had any such mood swings in years but the diagnosis is still important to her as it was the first diagnosis she ever received.
The depressive side one is more accurate to how Megan looks in real life whereas the manic side is how Cryptic wishes she could look but doesn’t due to sensory issues, fear of needles, and just not wanting to deal with the upkeep for colored hair.
